Website and Web Service Reviews
Giveaways have become the order of the day and they certainly help in increasing the popularity of a site. CellForCash is offering a Nintendo Wii giveaway contest and the entry process could not get any simpler. Blogs usually ask for linkbacks and entry posts for entries into giveaways, but all that CellForCash requires is that you answer a simple 2 question survey to enter their giveaway.

Now, things cannot get any simpler for you. It is hardly a matter of a minute or 30 seconds (if you click fast) to enter this contest. The best part about the survey questions are that both are optional, so you simply have to submit your email address to win a Wii.
A little more about the company, CellForCash does exactly what its name says. Gives cash for your old cellphones. Having old cellphones, you may have no idea what do with them after replacing them with better and more recent ones. So you can sell your cell phone at the site and make a quick buck from it.

Also if the cellphone you own is not on their buyback list and is over 2 years old, it may probably have no resale value. But you can still recycle your cell phone for free at the site by simply sending them the cell phone. You also get a complimentary recycling kit if you have 10 or more phones to recycle! Now that’s a way to do your bit for the environment.
Go ahead and enter the contest as you have only a few days left and after all, you needn’t waste any time with it.

Earlier I had talked about Kontactr and how you can create contact forms for your website in 2 easy steps. They also offer widgets for your site, so that people can contact you without leaving your site. Now Kontactr has come up with Kontactr Pop Up or KPU for short. Using KPU, you can use the contact form as a pop up. By pop up, not in a separate window, but in the same window using AJAX. The contact form loads in the foreground.

After filling it up and sending it, you can simply close the pop up window and you get back the old screen. This even ensures that the users don’t even navigate away from the page where they were. You can have a look at the demo. Would you use this as a contact method on your blog? Let me know!
If you’ve become bored of the regular Google Search page with the monotonous white background, then Groovle offers something that would pep up your day. Groovle enables you to select your own backgrounds for a Google Search page. You can use any of the hundreds of images in their database or upload any image of your own to use as a background for the search page.

Groovle basically uses Google Custom Search for their site and the results you get are, of course, no different but it would simply make the search page a bit visually appealing. There are different categories like Nature, Animals, Space, Celebrities etc so that you have a variety to choose from.

So, tell me how your Google Search page looks like. Would you try this or stick with the plain ol’ white Google? Thanks for reading!
This is simply another cool tool to morph images online. Morphing is basically combining the features of two different images to create one resultant image. This mostly works best with human faces and Morph Thing provides with you with the tools to morph images to your liking.

You may have come across quizzes or contests asking you to identify the two faces that are morphed together. This exact morphing becomes a cinch with Morph Thing. For unregistered users, you are able to morph images of celebrities. There are a huge number of celebrity photos that are present with them. All you have to do is select the photos you want to morph together and thus you have the result in a few seconds.

Above is a morph of David Beckham/Elvis Presley and Angelina Jolie/Jennifer Aniston.
Want more?
Morph Thing just does not offer celebrity morphs alone. You are able to morph your own photos as well. And what’s more, you can morph your photo with your favorite celebrity and find out how you look. Also, you can try morphing photos of your friends and see how it turns out. The only restriction for this being that you need to register. But that is a simple and quick process here as well.
After this, you can upload your image. Then comes the hard part. You need to prepare the image for morphing. During this process, you need to crop the part of the image containing your face. Following this, you should place control points on your various facial features to define them better. That is, by placing control points on your ears or eyes, you tell Morph Thing exactly how your features are arranged. This results in a better morphing. Though this consumes time, this worked pretty well for me and gave good results.
You can add speech bubbles with comments in them (like in comic books) and save those pictures. You can also post the pictures to your blog with links provided for that purpose!
Tips for a better Morph
When you are morphing two faces, the end result turns out good only if the photos are optimized for morphing. So, Morph Thing offers a few suggestions for a good morph.
So, something like your passport size photo would do a world of good for you.
I certainly found this service interesting.. What do you think about it? And tell me how your morphs turned out

If you ever want to make group calls easily and also send group SMSes without troubling yourself too much, then Foonz is for you. With Foonz, you are able to set up your account and using it, you can make conference calls easily using a unique Foonz number that is provided to you.

How it works?
Once you sign up, you get a Foonz number. To make a group or conference call, just call the Foonz number that you are given. Here, prompts will be provided using which you can select the Group that you need to call. When you select the group to be called, all the members of the group will receive an SMS as well as an IM & email if they are online inviting them to join the conference call.
When they call in to the number, Foonz will link you people together and the conference call can be done the usual way. The charges for the Group call would be the same as calling a single number only (which is the Foonz number).

You can use either a regular or mobile phone for this service. Also, callers from outside the US can also set up a Foonz account. However, text message invitations will be sent only to people within the US. You can also use Foonz from a phone other than the one you registered with, but a couple of verification questions will be asked before signing you in.
That’s it about Foonz. Tell me if you would try it out or if it would prove useful to you? Thanks for reading!
