Website and Web Service Reviews
PayPerPost is one among the various paid-to-review networks in existence. The principle behind this is to write about services, products or events on your blog and get paid for doing so. It does look pretty easy on the outside, but is it really that simple?

In a service such as PPP, your blog and its ratings are of utmost importance. The greater the Alexa rank and the Pagerank of your blog determine the reviews that can be taken up for it. PPP allows the advertisers to put their services up for review for a particular price. The advertisers can specify definite criterion such as the maximum Alexa rank and minimum Pagerank needed by a blog. Only those blogs fulfilling the criterion can take up these reviewing opportunities.
As I said, your blog’s popularity is what determines how much you earn. Also, there will exist a number of opps that are not related to your blog’s niche. In that case, taking up those opps may simply tarnish your blog’s reputation. So, be wise in picking up good opps even if they don’t offer too much. By picking up related opps, you can make the post seem like a normal post(though a disclosure is needed) and not make it stand out like a sore thumb.
Siteguide is completely free from CPC and CPM advertising of any kind. The only monetisation I use is that of Paid Reviews from services like PayPerPost. For young blogs like this, there are a few opps available ranging from $5 -$10. However, unless your blog commands a reputation, this is something that you have to settle for. I heard about PPP from various friends on the web and signed up soon after. Your blog needs to be atleast 90 days old for approval. I am yet to earn much from PPP, but however I hope that will change once I get a better PR soon.
I would certainly advise any blogger to sign up to the service as I feel it may boost the revenues without the usage of intrusive ads. For all those who are using this blog network already, I would like you to leave your opinions on if this really has worked for you and to what extent you have been successful in using this as a good monetization tool.
Thanks for reading!
19 People have responded. What about you?
I too thought about writing one today.
Do you get much more review opps with your PR 4?
I have had some success with ReviewMe and a lot of success with SponsoredReviews. I haven’t signed up for PPP yet, but may be trying them out sometime soon.
Great post!
I have tried ReviewMe, SponsoredReviews, and PayPerPost, I personally like PayPerPost and SponsoredReview much better then ReviewMe. Even though I have made more money with SponsoredReviews I personally think that PayPerPost is a much better platform.
I can not comment.
They require you to be 18 or more, and that’s just plain bad. Because I really want to try out Payperpost.
@Kyle and Michael: I have made relatively more money with SponsoredReviews but the approval by advertisers thing is getting frustrating as around 5 bids are pending approval for over 2 months now.. That is the only part I hate about the service.
@Sarat: You could create an account with your father’s name with his permission. That is allowed..
Thanks all for your comments!
I do have some opportunities, but many are not related to my area.
The same problem lies here as well. Most are finance or business related.
Totally agree 100%. You did a great job blending this post to seem like a regular post
I’ve taken 1 opportunity worth $20 and just got paid today!
My goal is to reach a PR 6 and good Alexa ranking so I can take those 100+ opportunities!!

Thanks for the compliment Gregg! PR 5 seems easy for a good site these days. The PRs above that seem elusive for all but a few good sites.
But, as you said, PR 6 will open up a whole new world of opps(literally) for you.
I thought too about signing up, but decided against it.
@Rose: With a PR5 I think you can atleast give it a shot and tell us about your experience!
I’ve signed in there.
but as my blog is a baby blog. i’ll use it in the near future.
You do need a good PR before getting good offers from PPP.. I am still waiting for one!
I haven’t had any luck with PPP yet and I don’t think that would work for blog like mine. On the other hand ReviewMe is great! SponsoredReviews are good option too but advertisers take a way long time to respond..!
Actually, the advertisers haven’t responded to my bids for over 2 months now.. I’ve almost given up!
There are other services out there…. Google is going after services like PPP and using them by mean your blog is prevented from passing any ‘juice’ by Google.
Almost all the sponsored posts based sites are now altering their terms to abide by google or atleast do it without the knowledge of google..
We just have to wait and see how it works out.. Thanks for your comments Chamonix!
I think PPP works great. I’ve made higher value posts with sponsored reviews, but overall PPP has got me a lot of money.
