Website and Web Service Reviews
Favicons are basically the small image that appears next to the website’s address in the address bar of browsers. They help in adding a nice touch to the site’s design and create a unique identity for the website. Designing a favicon may be an arduous task for an amateur web designer. So, Favicon.ico generator is a service that helps you to create your own favicons.
Using the Favicon.ico you are able to design your own favicons in a few minutes. The service provides you with a 16×16 square grid as shown below.

Thanks for sharing..I’ll try to make one later tonight! I’ve wanted to know how to make one for a while now, but just been too lazy to search it

Nice, the preview feature is especially cool. I’ve seen sites that let you generate .ico from .png, but this is better in a lot of ways.
@Gregg: Tell me how your experience goes
My designing skills weren’t exactly impressive
@Oznob: The preview feature is actually pretty essential for you to get a feel of the favicon!
Nice find. I too will try it out.
My blog is missing a favicon. Have to add one soon. May be this tool will help. Thanks for sharing.
I never noticed the lack of favicon on your blog! But anyway, it is a good idea to personalise the blog with a favicon.. Good luck with it!
well thats certainly easier then what I used to do (make an image then convert it to .ico), thanks for sharing
Perhaps it is best to copy an existing favicon, and then modify it to make it different, rather than start from scratch.
Nice Post. I will try this

@Duncan: This is basically for simple favicons, so for anything better, you would need good design skills.
Thanks all, for your comments!
