Website and Web Service Reviews
When you apply to any event that requires a physical copy of the application to be sent (i.e. an application form that should be mailed to the organisers), you get an application in the PDF (Portable Document Format). Now the PDF format is one which can be viewed by any computer having the Adobe Reader. But, the content of the PDF forms cannot be modified by Adobe Reader.
Essentially, this is done in order to prevent modification of the forms. You are supposed to take a print out of the form and then fill it up manually, thus consuming a lot of time compromising on legibility in a few cases as well.
What is PDF Filler?
Now, PDF Filler is a service that enables you to upload such PDF forms and fill them up online. Once you are done filling them up, you can take a print out of the filled form or email the form to the appropriate address.
PDF files can be modified and edited using Adobe Acrobat, but unfortunately the standard version would set you back by around 300$, not peanuts certainly. So, PDF filler acts as the online version of a PDF editor thus enabling you to fill up the forms easily.
All you have to do is:
1. Upload or Specify the location of the form.
2. Click on any place of the form and start typing.
3. Print or Email your form.
Other Options:
You are able to upload PDF files from anywhere. That is, you can specify the direct URL of the form or upload it from your PC. As soon as you are done uploading (this takes some time), you will be instructed to place your cursor and start editing. Also, you are able to select from four different fonts and text sizes ranging from 2-24.
Disadvantages:
Privacy:
PDF filler does not keep any of your data. After you have uploaded and edited your PDF form, all the files and any text you have added are permanently removed from PDF filler’s servers. They do not require users to register at this time.
What browsers does PDFfiller support?
PDFfiller requires Internet Explorer or FireFox browser. Other browsers will be supported in the future.
How does PDFfiller work?
PDFfiller converts any PDF file into a graphical image and allows the user to add text anywhere.
Is there a way to embed the PDFfiller editor into my own website, or to go directly to editing the PDF form by skipping the upload page?
Yes, you can use the following url, and specify location of the pdf file. http://pdffiller.com/index.php?pdf=www.url.com/file.pdf where www.url.com/file.pdf is the location of the form.

I think the latest version of Adobe Acrobat supports it .
I think you are referring to the Adobe Reader software.. The adobe reader is only used to view PDFs. Editing is restricted to the Acrobat.. Adobe reader was known as acrobat reader until version 6.
Disadvantages: — correction….
* If you place the cursor in the wrong location, then the end result will come out wrong.
—> user can move any text user typed , just selected and move.
* You cannot check or uncheck check boxes.
—> Use “X” or “V” to check boxes in the forms…
I agree that you can’t win ‘em all, but it certainly is useful to an extent for most..
Thanks for your comments!
I know pdffiller.com , I use it pretty often and I love it. It`s unexpensive and work very well . You don`t have to install any software. Good job! )
Another huge negative is that it costs $10 a PDF.
why not just export the pdf to a editable image type or use a pdf program that can do more than just read… i find adobe very limiting
Not 9.99 per form, It cost $9.99 per month. That means you can fill in unlimited amount of forms during a month. It is pretty useful if you applying to college or looking for a job and have to fill out infinite number of forms, don`t you think?

Not expensive if you need to fill in pdf forms more or less regularly, right?
Additionally I wanna say that it works much faster after a renewal.
Thanks for your comments all!
