Website and Web Service Reviews
It is a fact that there are many paid to review services out there. Almost all of them follow the same principle of accept an offer, write a review and get paid. But there must be something that makes each stand out in its own way. This is important in order to capture the bloggers and advertisers. Some have higher payouts, some have more opportunities and so on.
At this point I would like to introduce the service called Smorty. Let us take a closer look at what Smorty is, exactly.
What is Smorty?
It is basically a service that helps you get paid to blog. It acts as a bridge between advertisers and bloggers. Thus the advertisers can advertise on blogs of their choice and also get themselves a comprehensive review of the service offered by them. The bloggers, on the other hand can make money by reviewing this sites.
What is in it for the Advertiser?
A lot of exposure to the product or service offered by the advertiser is perhaps the most important gain for the advertiser. It is not only a linkback from the blog, but also a review which puts more focus on the advertiser than a simple text link. The advertiser, by means of such blog advertising, is able to exhibit his product to many a visitor, who may turn out to be potential customers.
What is in it for the Blogger?
Mostly, it is just the income generated that is the key fact from the blogger’s point of view. The blogger can thus be paid for blogging or rather writing reviews about fields more or less related to the blog run by him. This means that the blogger can blog for money and at the same time not deviate from the key niche of his blog. Thus this creates a win-win situation for both the blogger and the advertiser.
What is special about Smorty?
The thing I find most endearing about Smorty is the payout period. They payout by paypal once every week. Compared to PayPerPost or ReviewMe with monthly payouts, this certainly is one fact that people would love. A weekly payout means, that no long waits till the 1st of every month eagerly awaiting the payout. This, I find is Smorty’s Unique Selling Proposition and for that one reason I will probably keeping a close watch on review offers from it.
Do try it out and give me your opinions on how it turns out to be.

If it can provide good content to be reviewed then this would become success for bloggers
That is the main criterion.. And that is why ReviewMe is preffered by many..
I’ve got to give this a shot.. Its not wrong to try it atleast I guess, before making a decision
Just got my review approved. I personnally prefer to have RSS feed to keep track of available opportunities and I think it would be a welcome feature in Smorty.
Also, if you notice, each of your reviews will be approved only after 5 days. So I am still waiting for mine to be approved. Another day left to wait..
Can you do something like PPP and Smorty on the same blog? I get confused with all the rules
I’ll probably check out Smorty today and see if I like them better than PPP.

Actually you can do both on the same blog.. There wont be any problems with that. But PPP’s terms indicate that you cannot place adsense ads in PPP review posts..
Getting paid to write a review? This seems to open the door to writing a review that would be inaccurately biased toward the product being reviewed, and leaving the reader not very well served. Which is the opposite of what most bloggers are aiming to do.
I would like to see a conversation about maintaining integrity when writing a paid review
