Jun 30, 2007 Author: Vijay | Filed under: Featured Reviews

It is a fact that your list of bookmarks and passwords for various websites are stored in your computer. So, when you are out traveling anywhere else, it would be difficult if not impossible to access your bookmarks. Also, security is another major concern when talking about accessing passwords.

Spyshakers:

To solve such a problem, Spyshakers comes in. Spyshakers is a web service built to safely manage your favorite websites and passwords from any computer. It is a free service that you can use to store your bookmarks and thus, you can access it using your Spyshakers account from any other place. It is also a secure site, thus meaning that the information you exchange or store at Spyshakers cannot be viewed, accessed or used by anyone else.

How Klueless will you be?

Jun 29, 2007 Author: Vijay | Filed under: Knowledge Resources

Some may have heard about it and some may not. But all the same, if you want a real test of your mind skills and don’t mind spending sometime racking your brains then here is the thing for you.

What is Klueless?

Klueless is a game introduced, produced and managed by a group of students formerly and currently from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. It is basically a online quiz consisting of 30 Levels. To get past each level, you need to answer an indirect or direct question on that particular webpage.

Can I simply google it?

Sometimes, an answer would not be necessary and you may simply have to observe carefully, the entire webpage and the source to find ways to move ahead. Cheating will get you nowhere. As the IIM guys state, you can Google all you want, but since none of the questions are direct, you probably won’t find the answer on Google straight away.

There has been more than one edition of Klueless and people have cleared all the 30 levels. But, it is not as simple as that. You need some time specifically for this as this game is really addictive. Also, a simple knowledge of HTML and web pages is needed.

Here are the Official Rules:

Gameplay:
The game play involves getting to the next level. Each level is only one webpage.

Rules:
Get to the next level in whichever fashion. But don’t use spoilers (answers cracked by other people).

  • Free for all image hosting with BayImg

Jun 28, 2007 Author: Vijay | Filed under: Media Services

The Pirates from PirateBay have recently launched the no-holds barred, uncensored and free image hosting service called BayImg. PirateBay has already acquired notoriety for their blatant abuse of copyright laws. BayImg aims to provide a registration-free service that does not have any copyright license enforced on its images.

    Restrictions:

Though BayImg accepts all images without copyright restrictions, it states that all images that are illegal under Swedish law will be removed. BayImg means that no rape, child p0rnography or other related imagery may be uploaded. But other p0rnography related images may be uploaded and they won’t ask any questions.

    Registration:

No registration is required for uploading the images and I doubt that they even track the IP addresses of the uploaders. This means just about anyone can upload anything and get away scot-free even if it is illegal in every country in the world.

    Features:

About the features, BayImg has a cool interface to upload the images. For every file uploaded, it is essential to specify a removal code. Thus, if you want to remove the file, you should navigate to the location of the file and use the removal code to delete the image. If you forget either the location or the removal code, your file cannot be removed. You are also given the option to (more…)
